    1. Indeed, I observed only a couple of bloody feathers. The kill was most likely a Cooper’s Hawk. The species is known for hunting at bird feeders which is where the Doves most likely were feeding. We have since decided to refrain from using birdfeeders since there is ample nature-provided food here.
