Thank you to my blogging friends at, Our Rumbling Ocean, who suggested I try the 5 Day Black & White Photo Challenge. Over the next five days, it will be interesting to decide which photos will lend themselves to the drama of black and white.
The web at wetland’s edge originally caught my attention as late afternoon sun played rainbows on the silky threads that hang on the curve of an old snag branch. Although the music of the rainbow quiets in black and white, new melodies light up as dead gnats appear as notes on staff music spun by a crafty spider.
There are only two rules for this challenge:
1. On 5 consecutive days, create a post using either a past or recent photo in B&W.
2. Each day invite another blog friend to join in the fun.
On this, my second post, I invited de Wets Wild . This award-winning blog is one to follow if you love South African wildlife and want to learn about it from a naturalist’s perspective. Please be sure to check out their outstanding photo/essay, conservation-minded blog.
