“Perspective” Weekly Photo Challenge

-Columbia River Bridge Crossing-

October - Version 2

Perspective- a graphic system used to create the illusion of three-dimension images and/or spatial relationships on a two-dimensional surface. Linear perspective moves the eye to points on the horizon or to a vanishing point.

When this use of perspective was applied to the bridge, the viewer has a clearer spatial understanding of where the bridge fits in this landscape.

    1. Hi Janet- Thank you. The second photo is just for frame of reference. The bridge is rather meaningless without the context of what you noted: color and other shapes. Perspective is so much richer and interesting when those elements and details are added. -Jane
